I don't use use one myself but have a friend who dose it seems to help him as another anchor point and to be consistent but other then that I haven't felt the need for one myself.

Sometimes i set a bow up with no peep sight and just a kisserbutton.I shoot both eyes open ,and although a kisser isn't really needed on a bow with a peep,it does help when shooting out of a treestand ,to keep all your other anchor points in check.Remembering to bend at the waist while treestand hunting is sometimes hard, but with your nose tip on the string, your release hand at your anchor, and a kisser in the corner of your mouth at full draw, things stay consistant a bit better.
When you set a bow up with just a kisser, there is no worry at last light about being able to see through the peep, there isn't one.LOL.
