I exclusivley used Spitfire mechanicals up to 2 years ago. They worked great as long as the shot wasn't quartering away too much. I had a couple shots kick around on impact and reduce penetration quite a bit.
I tried the Trophy Ridge 3 Blade Meat Seeker mechanicals and thought they had great potential. They are a piston type mechanical that has a cut on impact blade. The only thing I noticed with them on a fast bow I didn't find it had a big entry wound, I don't think the blade was opening fast enough.
I have seen the effects of RAGE blades. 2 or 3 blade they make some awsome wound. Only down fall was I see the blades fall out of place quite easily.

I love the Slick Tricks! I use the 1-1/8" RazorTrick, with the four blades is cuts a 2" dia. hole. This years arrow penetrated two shoulders and the spine, it turned my poor shot into an instant kill. Check them out here.... www.slicktrick.net/Attachments:

I have been a loyal NAP Thunderhead user for the past decade, until this year. I have never had a problem with deer and I knocked down two beautiful moose with them and loved them. This year I got a solid hit on a nice buck and he left very little blood and ran a lot further than he should have with the hit that was on him. I got a complete pass thru, the arrow struck him 6 inches behind the shoulder and following a forty minute wait I jumped him and he blew at me bounding down thru the hardwood like he was not even hit. Following an autopsy, because of the slight angle he was standing, the arrow had only punctured one lunge and clipped the other. No fault of the broadhead that he ran that far but this year I am going to switch to either the Thunderhead edge, or possibly a mechanical that will punch a larger hole. I have looked into the Rage, but not totally sold on their flight performance, but I do like the hole they punch. Still up in the air......

I like using Muzzy broad heads. I have been using them for years and have had some issues but not enough to change. I did use Slick trix at first. They were a mean and nasty broadhead. They certainly did the trick for me. I changed over to Muzzy dew to the fact that I couldnt buy them(slick trix) out west as they where a big seller. I did have one trix collaps onse when I hit a moose rib dead on, but that was just onse. I sent it back to the company and it was stated that it was a manufacter defect and they sent me a dozen broadheads back. Still got them and likly use them again.

I used the G5 Striker fixed blade this past season and loved it. Flies just like my field point and is razor sharp. Got a complete pass through with them and a good blood trail. Only negative is that they were pricey.

Croc and I settled on TR Meat Seekers (3 blade, 2" cut) and between the two of us, we took 3 deer with them in our first ever bow season. Fifty yards was the longest recovery and the blood trails were VERY easy to follow. My doe was shot at 21 yards (from a tree stand) and the broadhead went through the shoulder blade, into the chest cavity, out the other side through a rib and buried itself into a tree! The deer was actually pinned to the tree for a split second. I'll be using them again this year. The blades are kind of flimsy looking but the results can't be argued with.

NAP HELLRAZORS,I tested a lot of b-heads,If it is popular i've tested it,I've killed 2 bears and 3 bucks with the rage 2 blade, only ever had one broadhead fail on big game in my life,it was buck#2 with the rage heads.Head was mailed back to them where they also claimed manufactures defect. They are a weak head, with a weak spot right where they screw on the shaft,NEVER RE-USE one, even if you change the blades.Out of the five animals taken with the rage heads only one went farther than 20 yards.
I like fixed blades as the guess work of it opening on impact is taken out of the equation.

I really like the look of the hellrazors they look like a great head ,,,,like I mentioned I just not sure on the tip on the thunderhead edge as it is not sharp like the chisel points on other broadheads

I was out shooting the other day because the weather was so nice i decided to try some broadheads out on a steel wheelbarrow,I use this test to see just what they can take.I tried the hellrazors, rage 2 blade, and good ol' thunderheads.I was surprised how much the hellrazors bent up,not as tough as i thought they were, the rage 2 blade didn't make it through one side of the steel, the thunderheads......untouchable even after all these years the tried n true fixed blade thunderhead outdoes these new heads,by far, when i can shoot a steel wheelbarrow and it penetrates both sides of it,and isn't hardly destroyed ,and still in one piece,i know i have a head i can count on if i happen to mess up the shot or something else happens thats not in the plans.LOL
