well I am not sure what is causing this to happen but my arrows are "spiral fish tailing" I was shooting 30 yards and the wind is pretty strong so I was thinking it was wind causing this to happen? I was still pretty accurate for my skills ...Scott has french tuned and paper tuned it so i know its shooting good. or would the really cold temps today effect a properly tuned bow?
I already blamed the wind for 2 missing arrows tonight LOL the way I am shooting I am in lee of the house and target is in the wind. so half of the arrow flight is in lee and half in wind

I won't say that you're wrong about the wind, but I had a similar problem last year. After a lot of frigging around with the bow tuning, it turned out to be my fault wiht "creeping" (letting the draw down alittle bit from first draw before release). Shortened my draw 1/2" and make sure to hold a full draw and problem solved. -Dave

I also found out I lost the 2 arrows do to my sight LOL I had adjusted it and not tightened it as much as it should have tonight in basement I was 3 inch low and to left ...a couple adjustments and back on the mark! I have lots to learn

Learning is the best part of archery. I first started when I was 10 yrs old and now I'm 45 and still learning. I had the same problem as you and was corrected with croketts solution. It also happened once shooting across an old chopping where there was a slight breeze. The shot was let off in behind the direction of the wind and 20 yds out it was hit with a cross wind and the arrow looked like it was cork screwing. Hit the Elk dead on but was wierd to see happen.
