this afternoon I was alittle board and wanting to try something new in shooting. me and Alisha have been working pretty hard for about 3 days clearing the back yard and have decided to start to turn it into our bow course. I had bought Alisha a tree stand for Christmas and I decided to hang it in back yard to do some tree stand shooting. First off you guys that hunt tree stands alot are nuts LOL still dont feel 100% comfy in it but getting better LOL and for those of you who wonder my safety harness was on and double checked LOL then I got my 3d deer out and set that up and had a ball shooting it ...I was unsure of the stand at first but once I started feeling comfy I did pretty well here's my stand and nice "camo" ladder LOL here is the shot from sittin in the stand here is my best 4 shot group of the evening ...in my defense its not wise sittin in stand in t shirt in the evening in feb LMAO here is a view from the stand showing the shot along with other target placement places to the right of the pic

Nice shooting Justin. I have to ask this. where do you live? there isnt a chance in hell that I can even get anywhere near a tree in the woods at this time. The ground there looks dry. we still have a couple of feet of snow here. BTW nice target. Hows it holding up for you?

LOL I live in half way between Yarmouth and Shelburne ...there is very little snow around here but you don't have to drive far to find some!!! Target is great but I haven't even got it broke in IMO yet. as if I hit a "new" area its hard to haul out in the colder temps. the deer target in pics is about 50 yards if I shoot it from my door step. I am lucky I have only one neighbor and he is a good 150+ yards threw the trees. and I am roughly 250-300 yards from road.

I am happy with the shooting. I plan on setting up a lot of different angles and distance ...it looks alot different judging range in the stand!!!

nice looking stand, I just have one I made out of some 2x4's, would love to have one like that, they just look sturdier. I'm gonna be building a ground blind here in a few weeks in behind the house on a trail they have beat down to an old apple tree so some of those windy days I don't have to be blowing side to side in mine

When the family went to the states last year me and dad picked up Gorilla stands and for deer season I had my own stand where I'd sit. ( No bow ,not old enough) But the ladder was the exact same as yours and believe it or not does would come once in a blue moon...
