hey just out shooting again tonight and think I'm starting to get a decent handle on things, but it's kind of getting irritating. approx. every 4 or 5 shots or so the peep sight begins to twist on me so I have to keep turning it back. probably a newbie question but is this usual or is it just not positioned right? is there some trick I can do to help keep it in place?

I am thinking you something like a G5 peep and requires a "good" string to keep from twisting / stretching..I would suggest a peep like this so twisting is not a issue images.cabelas.com/is/image/cabelas/s7_417578_999_01?rgn=0,0,661,2000&scl=5.2631578947368425&fmt=jpeg&id=1cHOleHA2u7lRuSiMrdZ-z

yea mine's very similar to the g5 (string goes on both sides of the peep). I wonder if putting a T.R.U speed-nok in the d-loop would work. I've read alot that they seem to work good for straightening out a peep

I am not too familiar on that. but from a look it may help....my only concern is and it may not be a worry at all as I am no experet is twisting your string to aline the peep afect shooting as when you release it will be twisting back to how it wants to be?
other then that I would say it will fix your problem but like I say IMO I would go with different peep
hows the groups coming along?

things are getting better, we moved our firing line in matt's barn back to 20 yards and I'd say I'm pretty much grouping withing 6-8 inches. getting less and less flyers all the time too. looking forward to seeing if my stabilizer will help any. I did some fiddleing around with the d-loop and the peep some and almost seemed to help. I must of shot 20 arrows tonight and didn't need to adjust
